Sarah, Just read this and am encouraged and hopeful for you. Somehow, this all makes sense in light of all you have poured forth these last few years. And so it makes sense to me that God would show up in small places – savor those. They are enough for now, I think. You’re wonderful.

Yup—nothing like doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. I guess recognizing these cycles is good but does it keep us from diving in for another round?

Truer words were never spoken. We all wear spectacles shaped by many things w/lenses shaped by even more of life’s etching tools. It is a great thing to be comfortable in the skin you’re in and live out of the lens you have on. Sometimes we can share these lenses with others and it makes us all better people. Sometimes we put on theirs for a few blocks of the walk, and it helps us understand something more deeply than we could’ve before. Good encouragement Sarah, keep on looking out at the world through those lenses you’ve got.
