About Sarah
Sarah Byrd is a writer, mentor, and speaker. She grew up outside Washington, D.C. and majored in Business at James Madison University. A lifelong reader, she tried her hand at writing when her children were young. It wasn’t until her youngest was in high school that she devoted time and energy to a novel begun years before.
Her greatest joy is spending time with her husband of 29 years, two daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren. Sarah and Steve have attended West End Presbyterian Church for 15 years. Sarah founded Wellspring, a women’s bible study, and is active in the t2 women’s ministry. Steve is the Director of Partner Relations for seeJesus.net and is studying for a Master’s degree in Human Service Counseling, as well as continuing to serve as an elder at their church. Together, they have led home groups for over 10 years.
Sarah directs service operations at an independent wealth management firm. Along with her job, Sarah enjoys cooking, word games, and a good nap. The Byrds live in Richmond, Virginia.
